WHAT IS FOCUS FORWARD?
Focus Forward is an Adult Day Training Life Skills Development 3 provider. The program is geared towards young adults with disabilities and the current cohort is accepting clients between ages 22 through 30. Focus Forward's goal is to not only increase the client's independence through life skills and social skills but also to create an environment for the clients to grow with like-minded peers of similar life experience. Clients work on a wide variety of activities including art, baking, basic finances, communication, cooking, group outings into the community, home and internet safety, nutrition and fitness, music appreciation, reading, and so much more.
We believe that all people are equal regardless of ability, gender, race, or religion. Here at Focus Forward we treat every client with respect and dignity. We believe that how you treat a person greatly affects how they see themselves, especially with our population. Focus Forward maintains a high level of expectation from each and every one of our adult clients because we know this expectation is what leads to independent growth and success.
